Ise

It takes one hour and 50 minutes from Namba, Osaka to Ise by Kintetsu express. It takes one hour and 25 minutes from Nagoya to Ise by Kintetsu express.
Ise Jingu is the most prestigious Shinto shrine in Japan. It consists of Naiku and Geku. They have performed Sengu, the transfer ceremony, every 20 years since 7th century. Ise has functioned as a center of religious belied sicne ancient times, and at the same time, offers gormet dining and leisure activities for visitors. You can enjoy of the outer Sengu sanctuary and front gate of the inner sanctuary.

Asuka

It takes 2 hours from Asuka to Ise by train.You can enjoy Asuka with rental cycles as well as buses.

Asuka city has historical sites which were built up in around 6th century. This is the central venue where ancient Japan was founded. It has a historical spots of the old capital, tombs of powerful politicians, great Buddhist image, mysterious stonework, etc.
At Iwaido-so Hotel, you can enjoy “traditional foods” which eaten by powerful politicians in the days of old. (You need reservation in advance.)
Go for a walk in the early morning, and you could experience the same atmosphere as ancient people had thousands of years ago.

Horyuji Ikaruga town,Nara

It takes 45minutes to go by Kintetsu lines and Narakotsu Bus from Asuka to Horyuji Temple.

Horyuji Temple was built by Prince Shotoku, who established a constitution was an authentic leader in Japan in 7th century. The temple is the oldest wooden structure in the world and is a World Heritage together with Hokkiji temple and Hourinji temple which are located nearby. You can enjoy precious Buddhist images, works of art and the structure in a garden setting.

Todaiji Temple / Kasugataisya Shrine Nara park,Nara

Nara City, Nara Park, Todaiji temple and Kasuga shrine It takes only ten minutes by JR train from Horyuji station to Nara station. You can use Nara Kotsu bus from Nara station to Nara Park.

Todaiji temple was built by the emperor of Japan praying for peace in Japan. It is quite famous for its Great Buddhist image which is 15 meters high.
Kasuga Taisha Shrine is as old as Todaiji temple and registered as World Heritage. One of the main attractions of this shrine is the profusion of lanterns which worshippers donated to the shrine.In the Nara Park that surrounds Todaiji temple and Kasuga Taisha Shrine, you can find thousands of deer which the people of Nara people are very fond of.
A messenger of a God is believed to reside in Kasuga Taisha Shrine.

Forty minutes from Nara to Kyoto by JR or Kintetsu line.

In Higashiyama area, you can enjoy wonderful temples which are typical of Kyoto. You can enjoy beautiful scenery of these temples. You can also enjoy souvenir shops.     Traditional Japanese temples and shrines lit up by floodlights are quite beautiful. This service is held for a limited period only. You can enjoy traditional tea ceremony in Fukujyuen in downtown Kyoto.

Osaka Castle,Osada

You can use JR or Hankyu or Keihan Railway from Kyoto to Osaka.(about 30minutes)

Located in a huge public park, Osaka castle is one of the symbols os Osaka. The original Osaka castle built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi was destroyed. The present one is the third one, and was built by funds donated by residents of Osaka more than 80 years ago. You can enjoy historical ibitions at the castle.
Dotonbori Street is famous for shopping, theater and is a great place to walk. You can enjoy Bunraku at the National Bunraku Theater nearby.Bunraku, which started in Osaka, was registered as an intangible cultural asset in 2003. National Bunraku Theater provides English by earphones.
