wild monkeys. It takes
25 minutes by the
Hankyu Mino Line from Umeda,
Osaka. Sixty
percent of Mino is mountains
covered with
forests, and there are
some tourist attractions.
The Mino Quasi-National
Park, Katsuodera
Temple are two of the most
notable. Ennogyoja
founded the mountain religion
there. The
city is famous for its
maple leaves, so it’s
a good spot to go hiking.

hot springs and hotels.

| Mino Quasi-National Park is located at
the mountain district
of northern Mino City.
From old times it
is famous for its water
fall and maple leaves.
The park has an altitude
of 100- 600 meters,
then it is a treasury
of nature and bugs:
1100spiecies of plants
and 3000 kinds of
insects there. |

main camp of Segawa,
Hanmachi,
site of Takafudado
in Makiochi, and

| Katsuodera Temple is the 23 amulet distributing
office in thirty-three
temples in Saigoku.
There is a Buddhist
temple gate, Taho Tower,
the Main Hall in
the mountain. It is also
popular as a beutiful
spot of cherry blossom
and maple leaves.
