@When you move from Nara, you can take the JR or Kintetsu line. The Kintetsu limited express train is comfortable for you in considering time and amenity of sightseeing. The train runs from Kyoto to Nara or Kashiharajingu station every 15minutes. In recent years, the connection of JR lines between Kyoto and Nara is improving, and the JR has become usable.
@From Osaka to Kyoto, the Hankyu limited express from Umeda to Kawaramachi station, Keihan line limited express from Yodoyabashi, Kitahama, Kyobashi, Temmabashi to Shichijo, Shijo, Gojo, Demachiyanagi station.
@JR bus is the best choice when you move by bus. If you go to Arashiyama (western area of Kyoto) itfs more comfortable to take the Hankyu line. You will get off at Katsura station or Arashiyama station by limited express. If you go to the Higashiyama, Okazaki, Hieizan area, we recommend you to take Keihan line. It will be crowded in holidays so that you should take the subway corresponding to conditions.

Two-year slope/Three-year slope
@These slopes are paved by stone. You can take them to Koudaiji temple, Yasaka jingu shrine, and the Okazaki area. There are many souvenir shops and restaurants around the slope.
Kodaiji Temple
@Kita-no-Mandokoro (the wife of Toyotomi Hideyoshi) built this for grieving over Hideyoshi. It sometimes lighted up inside. Itfs beautiful.(075-561-9966)(You have to pay entry fee.)

Yasakajinja Shrine
@Yasakajinja is popular with people as the name of gGion-sanh. That is the head shrine of Gionsha shrine. There are over 3,000 Gionsha shrines in Japan. It has over 1,000 years of history. Heianjingu Shrine
@Heianjingu Shrine was built as a commemoration of 1,100 years after the relocation of the capital.
@They built the main building to imitate the imperial palaces of the Heian period.

The Museum of Kyoto
@The building of the museum was formally the Kyoto branch of Nippon Bank. It is covered with red brick. The museum introduces 1200 years of Kyoto, from the beginning of the Heian period (around 800) to nowadays, about history and culture by using various materials and models.(075-761-0221)

Kyoto Imperial Palace
@An earthen wall surrounds Kyotogyoen. Kyoto gyoen includes gOmiyah and gSento goshoh besides Kyoto gosho. The imperial palace had been still until the end of the Edo period, about 200 years ago.

Ninnaji Temple
@The emperor Uda established. He built his home there after he retired as an emperor.It has very beautiful buildings such as Kyu-Omurogosho, on the left side of Niou gate.

Kinkakuji Temple
@Originally, Ashikaga Yoshimitsu built it as a cottage. It was reformed to a Zen temple after his death. It has been called gRokuonjih temple from his Buddhist name. Formally, Kinkakuji had been as an aristocratic villa and served as a national guesthouse. Each story has different architecture: Shinden-style on the first floor, Samurai-style on the second floor, and Chinese-style on the third floor. The guesthouse is many-storied building. The building is covered with the gold foil. That beautiful figures reflects on the pond of the garden. Thatfs called gChisen-kaiyu styleh.(075-401-0013)(admission fee, \400 for adults)

Nonomiyajinja Shrine

Tenryuji Temple
@Takauji Ashikaga established for grieving the funerals of the emperor Godaigo. The garden is a Chisen-kaiyu style. We can see beautiful Kameyama mountain and Arashiyama(admission fee, \600 for adults)
Daikakuji Temple
@Originally, the structure of this temple was on imperial village of the emperor Saga. That is the birthplace of flower arrangement school called gSagano-ryuh. There is a pond called Osawa-no-ike pond. The sight reflectintg the moon is typical.(075-871-0071)(admission fee, \500 for adults)

Fushimi
Fushimi Momoyamajo Catsle
@Toyotomi Hideyoshi built Fushimi Momoyama castle. He spent much money to build it. The castle was rebuilt in1964. The culture materials were displayed in the castle of the Momoyama period (about 400 years ago).

Gekkeikan Okura Memorial Museum
@Fushimi is known as the town of brewing sake. There are many grave cellars in the western side of Fushimi. That has a characteristic atmosphere. Gekkeikan was established in 1637.
