Main route Takarazuka

Takarazuka is a 20-minute ride by JR Kobe Line, or 30-minutes by Hankyu Railway from Osaka to Kobe. There are some attractive spots to visit. The city is well known as having been the home of Takarazuka, the famous operetta company and the hometown of Tezuka Osamu, who is one of the greatest animation writers.
Tezuka Osamu Museum stands here in memory of him. Nakayamadera Temple is famed for the Buddha of easy delivery.
Kiyohsikojin Senshoji Temple is popular for the God of a cooking stove and fire. Kohama prospered as a town of a stage, and Yamamoto is one of the top three plant producing areas in Japan. Tessai Museum of Art is also a good place to visit.

Point1 
Takarazuka Theater is on Hankyu Imazu Railway. Takarazukaminamiguchi is the nearest to Takarazuka Theater, or from Takarazuka IC in Chugoku-motorway by car. You can go to Arima hot springs and Rokko by way of Horaikyo.

Point2 
Including transportation, you should take at least a half-day or move to visit Takarazuka from Osaka to Kobe. It is also possible to stay over night.

Takarazuka Grand Theater
This is the home theater of Takarazuka Operetta Company, or girls’ revue. It was set up in the Taisho era. There are many performers divided into 5 groups: Hana (Flower), Tsuki (Moon), Yuki(Snow),Hoshi(Star),Sora(Space), and they rotate performers.
Takarazuka Station〕on Hankyu Takarazuka Line or Imazu Line, and then a 5-minute walk.

The Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum
Takatazuka City is a hometown where Tezuka Osamu spends his 20 years including childhood. He created many great stories and characters satisfying children’s dreams. The museum is near the Takarazuka Theater. On the stained glass of the front entrance is Astroboy and a Knight with Ribbon, which are popular characters of his masterpieces. His pictures are on display. It’s a must for animation lovers.

Kiyoshikojin Temple
In this temple, the main image of Kojinsan well known as the God of the cooking stove. Many people dedicate pairs of tongs to honor him. At the precincts is Tessai Museum of Art where the original pictures are displayed. Tessai is a great master of Southern Chinese painting (18-19 century).
A 15-minute walk from Hankyu Takarazuka Line: Kiyoshikojin Station.

Nakayamadera Temple
It is said that Shotokutaishi constructed the temple. Its main image is well known as the God of "Easy delivery". At the precincts is an Ume tree garden with 600 Ume trees. Admission fee: free
