Main route Oyamazaki

Yodo and Hirakatajuku on Kyotokaido Highway.
It takes 30 minutes on the JR Kyoto Line Rapid Express train or 40 minutes by Hankyu or Keihan Super-express trains to get from Kyoto and Osaka.
You may see Yodo River and Mt. Tennozan from the window of the train. There are many things and places worth visiting.

Point 
We recommend climbing Mt. Tennozan to the Warring States History for as a romantic hike with your significant other. There is a hiking course called Hideyoshi-no-michi (Path of Hideyoshi) where wall paintings stand along the course, and climbers can see the transition of the military situation in the period. The gallery in Oyamazaki-sanso, or Oyamazaki mountain .cottage, might be the best place to refresh both your mind and body. Rekishi Kaido i Center is in the Oyamazaki Memorial Museum, and the nearest station is JR Yamazaki station or Hankyu Oyamazaki station. In Takatsuki, there is the ruins of Takatsukijyo Castle that Takayama Ukon owned.

Mt.Tennozan
Mt. Tennozan with an altitude of 270 meters was a stage of the battle in Yamazaki. It was an important placa to hold the exit of the Kyoto Basin in the Warring States period. There is a Hatatate-matsu, pine tree that Toyotomi Hideyoshi raised his flag of a thousand gourds.〔JR Yamazaki Station〕or 〔Hankyu Oyamazaki Station〕and an hour walk to top of the mountain.

Oyamazaki Historical Museum
Oyamazaki town prospered as an important place of transportation from the old times. This museum introduces the concept of the highway divided into five sections : Antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Yamazaki War, Rikyutaian and Modern Ages. Each sectionh provides us with the real exhibitions, videos, miniatures and illustrations for an enjoyable learning experience.

Hoshakuji Temple
This temple is more known as Takaradera Temple, or Treaure Temple. There is an eleven-headed Kannon, three-storied pagada that has the characteristics of the Momoyama period and other notable attractions.
