Main route Nabari

Nabari which is famous for Akame 48 waterfalls is one of the area that is favord with nature the best in the mainrout.
There is Akameonsen Spa in the entrance of a waterfall.
We recommend you to spend a night here if you wish to easy travel of ancient history.

Point1 
Let us introduce one of idea route. Departure at morning, calling at Saiku Rekishi Hakubutsukan museum (get off at Saiku station, Kintetsu line), having a lunch at Matsusaka city. Then going into the route 165, you will get to Jounokorosh-iseki ruins in Ueno city (Get off Igakanbe station, Kintetsu line).,and reach Nabari city following the route.

Point2 
You will visit Akame 48 waterfalls and Natsumi haijitenjikan Museum , stay at Akame Spa. Get off Nabari station, Kintetsu line / the entrance of Shijjuuhattaki) . Go to Muroji Temple, which was rebuilted five-storied pagoda, and Onoderamagai butsu, stone image of the buddha (Muro village, Get off Murouguchioono station, Kintetsu line)

Point3 
You will visit the street of Haibaracho town. Hasedera Temple in Sakurai city, and reach to Asuka. However, it’s too ambitious to visit all of spots above, you can reach to Asuka in the evening when you chose the spots.

Akame 48 Waterfalls
Akame 48 Waterfalls is the gorge of Takigawa River, runs on the boundery the upper between Iga and Yamato, 4km length. There are many waterhalls to look around. Nunohikidai waterfall seems like to be covered with a piece of clothes. Ninaidaki waterfall, two lines it looks like carrying the baggage.
Admission fee: Adult 210yen(include Nihon oosanshouo center.)

Remains of Natsumihaiji Temple (national historical property)
It is said that is ruins of Shofukuji. Okubo Himemiko established Shohukuji for grieving her father, the emperor Temmu. The trace of Kondo (Golden hall) and stone stairs is remained. They are estimated that is the object in the Hakuho period. The museum, next to ruins, displays materials of excavation.
Open: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Closed: Monday, Thursday (If these days are Japanese National Holiday, next day will be closed), the end of and beginning of year

Nabari Todo Family's House
The Toudou residence;who ruled the district in the Edo period,is the oldest of the extant upper class Samurai residence.
Admission fee: Adult 200yen
